Rainbow loop is an easy trail near Rainbow park. It takes about 40m to complete, and offer beautiful views on Rainbow falls. It's doable in all seasons, though it can be slippery in the winter.

It starts and end off the Rainbow Trailhead parking lot, which has about 15 spots, and can get busy. We recommend doing it clockwise, so take the trailhead on the left of the parking lot, which also points to Hanging Lake and Rainbow lake.

Follow the main trail and keep right, go up till you arrive at a post indicating Rainbow falls view on the right, Rainbow falls loop on the left. Go right.

After a few minutes you arrive at the falls. These are on 21 mile creek, coming from Rainbow Lake, which supplies about half the drinking water in Whistler.

Once you're done, turn around and go back to the fork, then take a right and go up. After about 5 minutes you'll arrive to a forestry road. Keep a right, till you cross a bridge.

Right after that bridge you'll be offered another view of the falls.

Keep on that trail till you reach the parking lot, follow the Rainbow loop. Just be aware that the way down is a mountain biking trail, although not very frequented. Be on the lookout for bikes and let them pass if any!

You should soon reach the bottom of the trail, which brings you back to the other side of the parking lot.
