This is the list of all hikes we enjoy in Whistler.
By difficulty:
- Very easy hikes have very simple terrain, such as gravel roads. They are well signed and orientation is simple. They might have some moderate elevation. They are relatively short.
- Easy hikes have some terrain or elevation. They generally happen on trail rather than gravel roads. There might be some moderate terrain such as rocks and roots. They are well marked. You need basic trail sense to get on them without getting lost.
- Moderate hike have a combination of terrain and elevation. There might be steeper and more complex sections. They are usually (though not always) longer. They require some planning and bringing food and water, and hiking boots.
- Hard hikes have a tougher combination of length and elevation change. They offer complex terrain features and might be less (or not) maintained. They are harder to access, and might not have adequate signage and marking.
